Credits For The Deserving

Ever gone through the unhappiness of not being credited for your hard work? You're in the right place!

Sit comfortably. Brew some coffee and laugh at this miserable but (thankfully) fictitious tale.
Tavish was quite ready to quit his corporate job and life and rejoin his life as an artist. Something most corporate workers think in life and Tavish knew that he won't be just one to them to think but to actually proceed his thoughts.
" Hey! Meeting at 12." Arshad, a co-worker, passing by informed him.
That's why I hate my current life, he thought. But this is the last corporate meeting of my life.
For the next 3 hours, he prepared for the meeting he was supposed to be presenting. Arshad later on told him in detail about the meeting Tavish would be representing. He prepared the details, drafts, fonts, charts and the information he was supposed to stand for.
He was exhausted by the pressure and was glad for his technical brain. For a second, he reconsidered his decision. He thought he could work part- time and give equal time to his inner artist. He always thought being able to draw was his God's gift but his corporation was a talent he chose and once even enjoyed.
Just for a second, tell you! Because in the next jiffy, Arshad hurried over and took the laptop from Tavish's desk and mouthed a 'Thankyou' to Tavish and lost in the boss' cabin. He realised that it was Arshad's presentation and not his he was slogging from the past 3 or so hours.
I am not living this so- called money making life which pays so less and behaves with us as if we are garbage. Painting is what I'll do for a living.
The next day he didn't come to the office. Twist: His appraisal was sanctioned that day and a solo trip to Prague was offered over phone. He left the canvas he was working on fixing and ran to office and the following week to destined office holiday
PS: He didn't know anything about art or painting, thus taking an entire morning to fix a canvas!
