Isn't it lovely?

The perfect teenage.
The perfect grades.
The perfect life.

Don't really know what any of them feels like..
I am an introvert elephant with less than a handful of friends in human because I've found friends in books. Teen a.k.a young adult books. Admitting it probably makes me a bad person but- I love those books because of their imperfect lives. There- I say it! The ones that I prefer don't really have happily ever afters but bitter truths and maybe a small corner of forever. They tell me that am not the only imperfection among the perfect lives. The clingy happily ever afters where the girl falls and then the guy (or the other way around) and then they kiss is an alien concept for me. Books that portray the darker side of teenage interests me more. I believe they are the greatest master pieces for daring to  show the reality of a survival period of one's - the Teenage. Books that tell us stories about the importance of mental health, body positivity, finding one's lost selves, for me, tell the ugly reality and truth of teenhood. They focus more on acception than expectations. They tell me to revive and realize my worth and value, and that being different or anti social isn't a bad thing, it instead helps in exploring and knowing me more. I still have a long a way to go and truly accept my imperfect and introverted life.
Some of the books that helped me include Looking for Alaska by John Green,  All the Bright Places  Holding Up The Universe by Jennifer Niven amongst many.
Thank you.
